Committee Terms of Reference

 

Admission:

 

To prepare, adopt and review admission arrangements for the school.

 

To consult upon and publish the admission arrangements.

 

Appraisal:

 

Clear and consistent assessment of the overall performance of school employed staff, including support staff, teachers and the headteacher, and for supporting their development within the context of the school's plan for improving educational provision and performance, and standards applicable to the post.

Staff Dismissal:

 

Hear appeals against initial decisions of the Staff Dismissal Committee or the Headteacher about matters relating to the discipline of staff, dismissal of staff, other terminations or staff redundancy in accordance with the adopted policies.

Uphold or dismiss an appeal.
