Collaboration with other schools

We are one of six schools in the Upper Wharfedale Cluster of schools. These schools combine to create opportunities for children to interact with others in their peer group and to give a forum for teachers to share ideas, group developments and staff training projects, leading to mutually beneficial results in individual schools.  We also collaborate with schools in the locality through the Castle Alliance and we work with the Burley English Hub, the Harrogate and Rural Teaching Alliance and the STEM centre at Skipton Girls High School.
The schools in our locality work together to promote interaction and integration in sport and in different areas of the curriculum.  Our children have enjoyed meeting other children at various sporting events, at Netherside Hall and our Year 6 pupils went on residential to Liverpool with the Year 6 pupils from Threshfield Primary School.
